Just got off the phone with the NVC...they told me that my husband's interview was scheduled for 1/26/11!!!! I'm bursting with joy!!!! After all the heartache we've been through! I will fly down to be with him that week even if I can't be with him at the actual interview.

Can anyone suggest any websites that offer discounted flights? I would really appreciate!

God Bless all of you...your turns will come too!!!

SO HAPPY FOR I WISH GHANA WUD MOVE LIKE THIS

Thanks so much, Aya, Nwanyioma and Missin Miss D....We are elated to have come this far. This is actually our second petition (the first - a K1 visa - was denied for ridiculous reasons back on March 23, 2010) so we know the drill with the medicals and everything else...lol You can be sure that not only did we front-load this petition with loads of supporting documentation, but we're prepared with a trunkful more to bring to the Embassy! Thanks, everyone for your support.

A word to Nwanyioma: I want to thank you for your kind words and support back in March of this year when our K1 was denied. We were devastated and thought all was lost. People like you encouraged us to get right back up, dust ourselves off, get married and prove to the Consulate that we had EVERY intention of getting married!

To all those who are still waiting - your turn will come and then I'll be congratulating you!

Mrs.Debby,

No worries. Thats what we are hear for. To help and support each other especially during trying times and dealing with the Lagos consulate. You have conquered and prevailed. Im so happy for you and your husband. Take care and stay blessed.

Nwanyioma

Congrats Debby,

Yes u may fly Delta airlines cos they have very low discounted prices especially when u book 3weeks or a month to ur proposed travel.

Key note, the consular might ask when ur husband sees u last, and if he says ur right outside the embassy, then ur coming will count and i can assure u that he'd have the visa. Just keep us posted and i pray for u.
