you know how it works?if your service center has got backlog, your petition is put on hold for five months, right before you hit five months they bring up your case and go through it,if not,you get forgotten like terezee and myself.

the reason both CSC and VSC got backlogged in the first place is Haitian petitioners.their cases are considered " humanitarian "

Can you explain me please, why they are taking in the first place haitian petitioners?

Did not we all deserve attention too? We are many people waiting for the visa to be with the people we love and why we must expect more of the indicated time just because they are giving preference to the Haitians?

I can't undertand this preference!!

Love how you chose to ignore the green bar AGAIN. Stop trying to justify long waits and ignoring ALL of the evidence.

If you are going to post 'facts', post them all, not just what you want.

And: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do

Processing Timeframe: 5 months. And as it says "If the office is processing a particular type of application in less time than our processing goal, you will see the processing times expressed in months (for example, if the office is processing naturalization applications in less than our 5 month goal, the processing time will state “Five Months”)." Since it says 5 months, that means they are processing 5 months or less than the goal, which is 5 months.

The green bar was not relevant to GOALS and AVERAGES. I love how you tried to be a smartass AGAIN. Don't need to justify something that WILL happen. THAT is a fact. When your past your 5 month mark, you will remember this convo. Funny thing is... They are currently NOT processing in less than their 5 month goal and it STILL states the same damn thing on their site.. HRM... Let me think about that... HRM...

THIS started as a comparison of CSC was moving foward and that VSC was being silent on NOA2s. So I tried to bring up this thought that, maybe it was because the late June & early july filers from VSC on VJ have gotten their NOA2s already. apparently, You are a TSC filer who hears and see things rather negative/backwards!

Hey, check this out:

http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/default.aspx

Notice the majority of petitions that were processed in the past week were processed BEFORE the 5 month mark.

I am actually a Vermont filer. My profile won't change the TSC status. I am a very positive, optimist person, but I am also realistic.

because thats " humanitarian " i dont get how making one type of visa preferred over the other is humanitarian.no one has a problem with Haitians, because we all know if they had a choice or option they would have stopped the catastrophe from happening, but CSC removing employees from k visas to focus on humanitarian ones is just insane

Atleast there were a few NOA2s from CSC this month. VSC has frozen on NOA2s since The day after Thanksgiving. No actions at all!!
