Hello all, I have a couple of questions. My wife(Japanese) and I(USA) are in the process of translating her family registry/koseki and our marriage certificate for the purpose of DCF for a spousal visa to the US in Japan. We are using the forms provided by the embassy, located here:

http://tokyo.usembassy.gov/pdfs/wwwfhhregister.pdf (koseki)

and here:

http://tokyo.usembassy.gov/pdfs/wwwflarge.pdf (marriage certificate, the large one)

1. I got the Koseki Tohon which includes the information for her parents and siblings as well as herself. Do I need to include everyone's info in the translation? If so, how? The sheet only has space for head of household + 1 other member, so I assume I just use more sheets and leave the head of household part blank on the other sheets?

2. Also, do I need to do anything with that little box marked "seal"?

3. As for the marriage certificate, basically the same question. What do we put in the bottom blank marked "seal"? Do we need to translate the mayor's seal? If so, my wife says she can't, as it uses weird kanji or something like that :P

Thanks in advance for the help!

Josh
