Hi all, i'm a junior member

We submitted our AOS last month and we've just got the Biometrics appointment date.

My husband is the petitioner and i'm the applicant.

Just wonder, if my husband also need to appear up at the appointment or i myself is good enough, since he has to work on that day.

Appreciate your advise B-)

Your husband doesn't need to go.. just bring proper ID and your Notice then your all good, also make sure you bring your marriage certificate just incase u change your last name and you don't have an ID with the same name as it appears in your Notice... I brought my husband with but he wasn't really needed to be there...

Biometrics is just finger prints and a photo taken of you.

A friend drove me and waited in the parking lot. It took me maybe 15 mins and I was done and out.

Biometrics is only for the person who is going to get the green card.

That doesn't really answer my question of what visa but never-the-less:

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to "Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas" as you are adjusting from a visa other than a K1, K2, K3 & K4 which the prior forum is for **
