This is the kind of love that boast and selfish. You only love yourself coz you think of yourself if you are gonna look like this or that.

excuse me? it's not selfish, LOL it's respecting your self a bit. how can you love somebody when you dont respect or love your self think about it.

happier than ever

really? You are being scammed, i don't think it's your responsibility to send his/her back. It is very alarming that a lot of people scams american guys because WHY? you just forgive and forget? forgive sure, but learn from it. What would you seriously get if you treat them nice? it wouldn't change the fact that they scammed you, lied to you and in the end who spent money? who look like an idiot? who had the CLASS to get rid of him/her? :) and what did you get? nothing but bitterness and hurt feelings.

No your way just leads you to a lot of anger. Look at how furious you are just discussing it. How does your way make it any better to learn from? It doesn't.

I had an ex-wife cheat on me and leave me with the kids. She is gone. I moved on, found a better wife and am happy.

You are concerned about looking like an idiot? I would rather be concerned about how I felt about myself.

can understand english much huh? no love from the SCAMMER. seriously? are you some kinda martyr? for the love of God, she doesn't love you if she is cheating on you. there's divorce because of people who cant be faithful, a lot of divorce is caused by a cheating partner.

I understand english very well, thank you.

I may be a martyr for love, but at least I am happy. And no my partner isn't cheating on me, I just felt bad for those guys who cheat on their wives coz I have talked to bunches of married couple and usually guys cheat 99%... too bad most of the marriages will be broken if each persons thinking is like that...tsktsktsk

whatever comes our way, we are gonna make it through

I am not saying your way is wrong or right. What I am trying to say is...RESPECT rules even when we are in agreement or uncomfortable with a situation. I know I let respect rules my life over anger. But that is just me.

My 2 cents.

you have your ways i have mine, in the end you been disrespected and you would respect them? kinda like the burglar breakin in your house, so instead of them breaking in you just give them the key :) respect right :)

Your powers of avoidance are amazing! First, you tell me how you would handle a scammer differently. Then, when challenged to explain yourself, you completely avoided the subject. What "action" would be taken? What "gentle way" would you use? How could you possibly love a thief who never loved you and only wanted to scam you? What kind of sick love is that? Would you treat someone who burglarized your home the same way?

You also completely avoided explaining your hypocritical behavior regarding your posts about your own fiancée. Do you think they were gentlemanly and respectful?

Simply amazing...

I would talk to her in a nice way. I will explain calmly the situation. If she admits her wrong doing, there is a good sign that things can get better. If she denies it? Guess what? I kindly will tell her that we can not get married and she needs to return to the Philippines. I buy her the ticket and put some money in her purse. END OF STORY.

But that is me. It is the way I function.

loving yourself is different from being selfish and boastful. self-respect is earned through yourself, not of what will others think of you. Staying in a relationship after forgiving is merely one's choice. If after that nothing happened that's the time you decide.

And just what is so bad about giving her a ride to the Philippine Consulate? If you think she'd go willingly then by all means be honest and tell her you're taking her there so she can get a ride home.

If you were scammed to bring her here then why would you feel obligated to pay more for a return ticket? I can understand if it's a case of this relationship just didn't work out then I would agree with paying her way back but if she's scamming you all along then never.

Do it gently, okay but still kick her to the curb and don't look back.

:thumbs:Agreed! A scammer is a whole different ball game.

How do you have a relationship with someone who has been lying to you? I mean if you don't really know them how can you honestly say that you were in a relationship with them or love them?

How can a relationship the never was real continue?

I has nothing to do with ego or anything, if someone is not truthful with you then you don't really know them do you?

If you don't know who they really are how can you love them?

Actually we're comparing someone who realized with open eyes that he was being scammed to someone who won't recognize it regardless of the amount of proof dropped into their lap!

Bob, you are missing the point. You are focusing too much on anger and ignoring other things. That is where the discipline of respect comes into play
