Congratulations!

Our timeline at CSC is close to yours and about 2 hours ago I received an email saying we had been approved and they are mailing out our NOA-2 today!!! :D

Good Luck Mal and Meg. Hope the process goes well and fast for you. The forum is indeed a treasure trove of informations. I just called NVC and they told me that they have forwarded my documents to Manila Embassy. I've got the MNL case number so I'm still trying to find out what to do next? Everyday seems to be like Christmas from this moment on. lol. :thumbs: The next step is to set up a medical exam for my fiancee. I need to read and ask guidance to anyone who had gone through their medical exams already.

Hi guys. I just want to share the relief that we finally got our NOA2. :thumbs: It has been a long wait. So I am asking for any good advise and friendly suggestion as to what to do next after NOA2? Are there things that I can do to prepare earlier so that the rest of the process will be smoothn and quicker?

This forum and site has been a treasure of information. Thank you to all who contributed and shared their experiences to help those that are in need of guidance.

Medical Examination completed before the Interview (2 weeks)

First come, first served, ME is valid for 6 months

Note: They take your passport on day two of the medical examination and you will

receive it back at the interview. This is no problem unless you need it for something

between that time.

August Filers are next up... a little more wait and NOA2 will be there knocking on your door. Now here's another question for the experts. How does one ask for an appointment interview after paying all the necessary fees. I read some posts that we contact the US Embassy in Manila and ask for an appointment, and then there are other suggestions that we do it online? Which is the correct method? Please assist. All help is welcome. :thumbs::help:

Here's a quick question for those who have taken their medical exam already at St. Luke's Medical Center in Manila. Can my fiancee take her medical exam with only our NOA2, passport, and passport picture on hand? We haven't receive a notice yet that our file has been forwarded to the US Embassy in Manila, so I was just wondering if we can take only those requirements to the medical exam?

I am interested in the answer to your question also, and How many hours does it take from the time you walk in the door? Day 1? and Day 2?

(Typical/average, minus early bird time, standing in line)

Need to schedule pick up and drop off with the driver.

Egg and Andy: Your news is encouraging. My NOA-1 was received on August 9th at the CSC. My GF and I are getting anxious. I fly back out to Rayong to see her in January. I would LOVE to bring her the good news!

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

My NOA1 was Aug. 3rd so we are close in time line.

Just and FYI your time line shows a NOA1 date of Oct. 6th
