NOA2 Finally Approved!

Hi guys. I just want to share the relief that we finally got our NOA2. It has been a long wait. So I am asking for any good advise and friendly suggestion as to what to do next after NOA2? Are there things that I can do to prepare earlier so that the rest of the process will be smoothn and quicker?

i have quoted this from someone and saved it.Thanks to him though i cant remember anymore.I hope this help.I will send the link of the documents your fiancee need to bring to the interview and also the Manila Usem site..But take note of the new changes in number you have to call for interview and the bank.See the links below.

5 business days after you receive your NOA2, call the NVC(NVC IS the Dept of State) at 603-334-0700, give them your USCIS receipt number and they will give you your case number it will be MNLXXXXXXXXXXX, this will be your DOS case number going forward, ask them if they have sent your case to Manila yet, if they have not yet, call back everyday until they tell you they have. They send your case electronically same day, and it usually takes about 4 days for them to DHL the hard copy to the Embassy in Manila, however once they send it electronically, you can start calling for an interview appointment, as it will be in the system. Once you call into the call center and make an appt, you can go for your Medical, as the call center will send you an email verifying your interview appt print this out, along with a copy of your NOA2 to your interview. I have heard of people going to medical, and just giving there MNL case number...you can try, but I cant verify if this is accurate or not!

So the procedure is, wait 3-5 business days after your NOA2, call the NVC, get your MNL case number, then start calling to schedule your interview, once you have done this, they will send you an email with your interview appointment verification, then go for your Medical.

We have the same NOA1 date except that you luckier than me, i only got one touch since July 26, i think they throw my case already to the trash bin. Malas ko lang diba? good luck sayo, you'll get it soon.

next thing to do is start preparing the docs that your fiancee will need to received from your end and your fiancee should do the same for the docs she will need to apply for her K1 visa . check out the "what to send" part here http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

check out the NVC.gov website as well if for updates on forms/fees etc

in the meantime, your papers will be sent to the USEM in manila (about 2wks) after which they will send your fiancee a letter saying that she can already apply for a visa which will require doing two things, setting up an interview appt and having a medical done.

for the interview, she'll be paying fees and filling out forms (under "forms" on the homepage) and to go with the forms are required documents which she should also prepare now (i.e. NBI, police clearance, passport cenomar, etc)

if you think you'll have all th requirements ready at a certain date/time frame, you can call the USEM hotline and get a schedule for an interview. whatever date you get, your fiance should then go for her medical (there's also a guide here for that) at least two weeks before the interview so that the results can be forwarded to the embassy and evaluated during her actual interview.

We haven't receive a notice yet that our file has been forwarded to the US Embassy in Manila, so I was just wondering if we can take only those requirements to the medical exam?

Our timeline at CSC is close to yours and about 2 hours ago I received an email saying we had been approved and they are mailing out our NOA-2 today!!!
