What do you guys do for a living?

I just graduated with a bachelor degree in October (I graduated late because I needed to finish one class) and still searching for a job. Out of curiosity, did you find your job through networking or internet/newspaper job posting?

I'm a professional chatter online (like instant messaging) during daytime and a Pro gambler on the internet nitetime. I don't need to hold any real job because why work when my wife's income from operating 4 nail salons (income mainly consisting of cash, which we can avoid taxes) is more than enough for me to make at least 4 to 6 trips to Vietnam yearly. Did I mention I also have 4 girlfriends over there? Life is so good!

Just remember, life over there in VN is NOT real! Your money will be worth a LOT less once you get back over here. Back to reality, cowboy!

Dont limit yourself to any single method of search... Networking has yielded me good results in the past and I have been able to help others in the same way... I have spent the equivalent of weeks online looking at positions and trying to evaluate the market... its good to have a thorough understanding of the given industry as a whole rather than just looking for a single opportunity... with the current economy it may be best to take the first thing that comes along, but always keep looking for something long term...

Thank for the advices.

I majored in psychology because I thought it was cool to learn about people and how they think. But, most importantly, I chose to major in psychology because there is not a lot of math involve :)

So, you a road truck driver with a degree in chemistry? I assume you are making more money driving than doing chemistry.

Never assume anything. Drivers do make good money and science degrees are usually not that great paying but does afford steady employment. My brother and friends who are still working in labs do pretty good.

I currently read English sentences for publication on an ESL website. Some of the recent jewels I have read are:

"Get the he!! out of my office and never come back."

"I saw him masturbating on the bed."

"I got stoned out of my mind last night."

"I'm coming with you!" "Like he!! you are!"

God I love Vietnam!
