I'm a USC and i had filed I-130 to bring my Mom who is currently living in Caracas, Venezuela. My application was received at CSC on April 25, 2006, i received an email on August 23 stating the following "This case has been approved. On August 22, 2006, an approval notice was mailed", i understand USCIS will forward this approval to the NVC, does anyone knows how long it will take for NVC to notify the US embassy in Venezuela?. I would love to find out how much longer until my Mom is able to travel as as "US Permanent resident", it's been already almost 4 months since i've filed the I-130.

I would expect it to be the same as for say a K.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
