Do you guys think it helps if I physically go to CSC to check what is going on? I have only one hour driving to Laguna Niguel.

I would pay for the gas. I'm serious.

Count me in too. I think you could probably get a few people togive you $5 or $10 a piece for gas.

would like to Know if Mr. Bush who is going to do so much for immigrations knows about that misserable situations with the USCIS offices, especially the one in CA!

We have even been thinking about if it would make sense to write an email to the White House to make them waking up a bit.

Not too long ago the USCIS put out a self-congratulatory press release telling everyone how the vision of a couple of immigration worker on a hunting trip 25 years ago has manifested. Now working without seeing people has become a reality, and not only that they work round the clock, are now more innovative, efficient and have increased security being on the front lines of Homeland Security. Reduced accountability has resulted in increased productivity :) These guys would probably freak out if people actually started showing up! lol

As an aside, they say that last year they processed 5.7 million of the more than 7 million applications...I just wonder what happened to the more than 1.3 million applications left over? Behind the water cooler?

The 1.3 million does seem a bit steep.

But we do have to realize that they do handle more than just marriage and family based visas.

In that 1.3 million you have to account for people's deaths, relationship breakups, people who are deemed inadmissable, people who withdraw their petitions and move overseas... etc etc...

Actually if I was that close I would go, honestly. Just to see IF anyone is working there and IF anyone there actually knows what is going on with any of the processing.

yes! spy into the windows from afar and see if anyone is actually doing anything... or get some special binoculars and find out if they are surfing the net doing nothing on the computers! lol

Ya, they're probably just reading this forum and laughing their asses off.

Good business sense suggests adequate staffing to manage the workload, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Unfortunately, we are a captive audience. If they farmed out this process with government oversight, things would move much faster.
