Guys i know this is a bad news for all of us... My husband talk to a NVC operator and told him that they are processing Jan. 2008 for appointment interview for the month of January 2011, i can't stop crying coz i really expected to have an interview appointment by this week... Anyone here have any idea about this? i really don't know why operators in NVC has their different versions regarding the PD that they are processing right now for January 2011 interview...

It's really frustrating... it's also unfair for us if that info. from an operator is true... My case completed Oct. 22, it's my 8th week of waiting on Fri. that is why i'm really upset coz i really expected that i will have an appointment letter this week 'til mid of next week...

that is true,i have been waiting for more than 9 weeks...and i was really expecting to have n interview date, but unfortunately, retrogression happened,it's really annoying and i was really disappointed on how they forsee those approvals.jumping so quickly and now they have to go back.

When I called NVC the operator I spoke to said not to think about the retrogression at this time, and just focus on getting scheduled for the interview. They said they're not looking at the PD for January, she said they are looking at December PDs as bases on who to schedule. And since our PDs are current as of this month, we can still get scheduled. She also said they haven't received any instructions from DOS regarding the retrogression, and that they are still scheduling until this week and possibly next week.

I spoke to 3 different operators and they all said the same thing. I don't know what to think anymore. sad.gif

The operator only follow up what instruction given by their supervisor. As internal matter DOS already reached their visa qoata, So even you have interview date scheduled. As i mention at my previous post that DOS issue a visa qoata for each embassy depending on their monthly capacity. Sometime embassy hold the approve petition because of have been reach DOS monthly qoata. So, embassy have to reschedule their visa interview. Phillipines would be worst case scenerio at this point as a result of lots NVC completed cases are on hold for interview date!!:bonk:
