Please excuse my username. I have another on VJ but both I and my fiancee log into to it so I had to create a new one for this specific purpose...

With Christmas coming I would like to order something for her and have it shipped to Bangkok. A few months back I put a care package together and when I went to ship it I found the cost was $220 USD for a 10 lb package. That said I would like to order some things online for my darling (not sure if it will be clothes or something else) and have them shipped directly to BKK. Can anyone suggest any websites with quality items where I can order from US and have shipped to her?

Thanks!

Not sure about online shopping, but we ship via USPS in a flat rate box. Can jam as much as you want up to 20 lbs in a 12x12x5 1/2 " box. Cost was around $55.

Can either go flat rate, or for a larger package, the table in the link has rates. Max length of 42" and length plus girth cannot exceed 79". Similarly around $50 for a 10 lb box to Thailand (in rate zone 6 for USPS).

Nobody in her family speaks English except for her and my Thai is near non-existent although I'm working on it. I don't have any way of getting in touch with any of them except through her. I'll try Rin & John's idea and use the USPS.

Thanks for the help :)

I use the large Priority Flat rate box also. Sent another one on the 10th and packed it with just under 16 pounds. Cant go wrong! Should be there in about another week. By far the best solution for shipping internationally!
