Hi VJ Family,

Letting you all know that i got my approval on December 2, 2010 after being touched on Dec 1, 2010. As i journey on to the NVC process, want to wish us all the best as we go thr this.

and I'm the last to know.... :bonk::bonk::bonk:

Jamaica has been one of the counrties that usually get their approval within the 5 months.. You got your approval justa bout at 3 months... that's great... it does give me the re-newed hope that my Future I-130 will be approved by April 2011 or so once submitted

We just out our NOA2 approved yesterday dec 3. I got an email at 8pm, I cant beleive they were working so late on a friday night.

2004 - we met online.

7th May 2007 - filed I-129 paperwork

9th June 2007 - received I-797 notice of action

13th November 2007 - I-129 approved

18th December 2007 Visa and medical interview

12th January 2008- Shipping company arrived

14th January 2008 - landed at Newark Airport.

9th March 2008 - got married(received SSI number)

April 2008 - My things arrived in USA from the UK

9th March 2009 - our 1st Anniversary

14th June 2009 - returned to the UK

9th March 2010 - our 2nd Anniversary - spent apart - so lonely :(

1st September 2010 - filed I-130 (applying for IR1)

11th Sept - Received I-797c address part C error

13th Sept - Resubmitted I-130

24th Sept 2010 received second I-797 NOA status - "initial review"

4th January 2011 - I-130 Approved - moving to NVC!

12th January 2011 - I-130 forwarded to NVC.

31st January 2011 - Notification of LDN number received in the post.

Congratulations again! I am so glad to see someone having a better than expected experience with USCIS. Obviously since we have the same NOA1 date, i am hopeful that some good MOJO is associated with that date!

I know I am curious and others might be as well as to what variety and amount of documentation was included in your package to establish your bona fides.....How many examples of correspondences, how many photos and of what...........etc..

If we all start doing this, it may help to establish a pattern for those that follow us on this often bumpy road!

To Misterbigtoe---- we did not send anything extra --- i just follow VJ guide and add a cover letter to the pre-requiste. No photos except my passport pics so i guess it is based on yr country and the level of background checks required. I was married in the USA so i dont know if that makes it quicker to check authencity.
