typically you have to wait about 2 weeks to your case to go from whichever center its at to the NVC which is in New Hampshire. I believe then if you have the right emails already listed in your I-130, then you basically wait till they send you the ds3032 choice of agent form along with emails as to paying the AOS bill. I think instructions to pay the AOS bill comes first, then the ds3032. once you've got that done, you're then off to the process. there's a flowchart somewhere on VJ detailing the steps (i think on the guides section). you dont need to talk to an operator to figure out what your NVC case # is. You can find it out thru the automated system itself using your I-130 case #. the only info you need is that NVC case # and you dont need to speak w/ a human to get that. and yes, keep a lot of time allocated for them - you will be on hold for at least 10-15 min every time, although a few times i got through after waiting 3 minutes (was in the afternoons). best of luck - this part is where things actually get moving, till you get to submitting all the documents and then need to wait for your case complete. You will soon be familiar with phrases like "Sign In Failed!" (which signifies that your case has been completed and in now in process for being assigned an interview date, which is what you want to happen speedily) and avoid terms like "RFE" or request for evidence...

Is there any specific time to hear automatic message or we can only hear that message during their office hours?

AVR is 24 hour service. Operators are available Mon-Fri from 0730 til Midnight. Put the number on speed dial, and be prepared to wait. My petition was approved on 23 November, and I have been calling them daily since I received the Hard Copy in the mail on 29 November. I have talked to 3 different operators, and they all have said it takes 15 BUSINESS days before case # is assigned, but I will keep calling back every day anyway in hopes they will screw up and accidentally get my case entered in their system earlier. Here's hoping we can get at least to the I-864, DS-230 point before the Christmas Holidays.
