Ashley CONGRATS. I'm so happy for you.

Yhang, we are still at NVC. Our hopes of "flying through NVC" have been dashed. We got our NOA2 on May 3 and waited almost the whole month of May to be entered into the system. We paid the bills and sent in our paperwork in June and it's now July and I called NVC yesterday and they haven't officially received our package yet. I know the package is there because it's signed for but for now, we just wait. We're hoping for CC by end of July.

Seems like everyone is having a problem with NVC now.. have you tried calling them and ask to speak with a Supervisor. I've known a lot from this group though who are having the same issues with NVC.. missing documents and stuff. :bonk:

Hope you'll get your CC soon with no RFE..

April 28, 2011 - NOA2!!! Thank you LORD!

NVC Stage - 21 days for NVC journey

May 2, 2011 - NOA2 hard copy received in the mail; NVC received our case

May 6, 2011 - Case number and IIN ; DS3230 sent by beneficiary through email to NVC

May 10, 2011 - AOS bill invoiced and paid

May 13, 2011 - IV bill generated and paid

May 16, 2011 - IV bill shows "PAID" ; AOS and DS230 packets sent to NVC

May 18, 2011 - NVC received both packets

May 19, 2011 - Medical exam - PASSED!!! :)

May 27, 2011 - Sign in Failed and Case Complete!!! Woot!

June 9, 2011 - Interview date assigned

July 14, 2011 - Interview @8:30am - APPROVED!!!!

and as for us, we got a false RFE yesterday so I know they opened one of the two packages we sent 'cause the RFE said they were missing the other packet. Woo Hoo.

yay!! Congrats!! :dance: :dance: :dance: When we got the SIF, we called NVC right away and they confirmed that the case has been completed. Some took 2 days after, some a day after before NVC confirmed CC. It won't hurt to try :)

The body of the "checklist cover letter" reads: "The NVC has received the information you submitted and placed it in your case file. You will be contacted when your petition is sent to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate for further processing." Translation: NVC is indicating that our case is complete and their next email will give us our appointment date & time at the Bangkok Embassy :dance:

Will be flying on august 24th, i cant wait <3

October 2008 - we first met each other at work (Makati, Philippines)

February 2010 - we finally admitted that we are in love (yay!)

Mar 18-Apr 5, 2010 - hubby went to the Philippines for vacation to celebrate his birthday

March 31, 2010 - engagement day!! yay!!

August 21-29, 2010 - hubby went back again to PH for the wedding prep

October 19-November 2, 2010 - hubby arrived in PH for our wedding :)

October 23, 2010 - WEDDING DAY!!

March 18-28, 2011 - hubby's visit to Philippines for his bday (2nd bday together)

USCIS Stage - 136 days for USCIS journey

December 2, 2010 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

December 6, 2010 - I-130 received!! yay!!

December 13, 2010 - NOA1 text message received!

December 16, 2010 - NOA1 hard copy received in the mail

April 28, 2011 - NOA2!!! Thank you LORD!

NVC Stage - 21 days for NVC journey

May 2, 2011 - NOA2 hard copy received in the mail; NVC received our case

May 6, 2011 - Case number and IIN ; DS3230 sent by beneficiary through email to NVC

May 10, 2011 - AOS bill invoiced and paid

May 13, 2011 - IV bill generated and paid

May 16, 2011 - IV bill shows "PAID" ; AOS and DS230 packets sent to NVC

May 18, 2011 - NVC received both packets

May 19, 2011 - Medical exam - PASSED!!! :)

May 27, 2011 - Sign in Failed and Case Complete!!! Woot!

June 9, 2011 - Interview date assigned

July 14, 2011 - Interview @8:30am - APPROVED!!!!

July 21, 2011 - Visa Received! FINALLY!

July 23, 2011 - POE - Salt Lake City, Utah *home sweet home*
