Just received the hardcopy today.. Seems like they received it on the 22nd of Dec and gave me the receipt notice for the 23rd.. Just thought that was a bit awesome.. So Dec 23rd was my "official" date..lol.. Now just have to wait to be able to check my status, cant seem to be able to see it just yet.. Hope everyone has an awesome New Years and lets all try to remember that this will be the last one without our spouses..

I definitely agree on remembering that this will be the last holidays that I'm not beside my husband

I'm just curious.. did you check if your receipt number is working? I tried ours but it's not..

this minimum of 5-6 months of waiting is already killing me. So please..... I am really hoping that 2011 will rock us all! Come on, 5 months!

I doubled and triple checked the receipt number from my hard copy and my email.. but all it says is that it cannot find the number. I'll give it until after the holidays though..

if you check the VJ timeline then it comes out to a little over 3 months.

Yeah it say estimated between late March and early April to be approved/denied...

I pray for 3 to 4 months...sounds so much better then 5. My husband is confident that we will receive the NOA2 by my next visit which will be in late march. Perhaps I can gather the paperwork neccesary for the next step. God bless everyone...glad I am taking this journey with you.

gathering paperwork isn't a bad idea. plus it helps in making you feel like there's progress going on even if it's from you.

police cert here in Philippines are good for a year so we're even getting that started this week as well.

The police certificates in the UK are good for 6 months so I told him that we will wait to get that. I need to gather the documents from my co-sponsors and then we are done. I think, I know I will remember something else when it comes closer to it.
