We'll see about NVC. I got my approval April 12 and NVC still doesn't have my case in the system. I talked to an operator yesterday and they said allow for 2-4 weeks!! That's a looong time to wait for just getting your case number in. Hopefully, yours will get in quickly once you have approval.

:clock: yeah waiting sucks... We have a loooooooot of practice though... Keep checking AVR...

Hi, I have been keeping eye on Igor's list. CSC cleared almost 90% of November CR1 petition in last 15 days of march. Today is 21st of April but they haven't even cleared 40% of December fillers?????? There are tons and tons of approval everyday for December K1 fillers at CSC????? Do they actually just stop working on December CR1 petitions.......We all December fillers have to contact CSC to know what is going on??? Otherwise it will be very late afterwards????

I too want all you December filers to get processed. I filed in January and need you out of the way

It looks from the dates that they're processing at the speed that they need to to keep pace. Earlier it looks like they had to process quickly to recover from the CSC->TSC debacle. I've seen the estimate come in significantly since november and now it's seeming pretty static.

I don't think they're falling behind, but they're not trying to get ahead either. I suspect that they've got plenty of other petitions to work on that we're not seeing.

What are you insinuating about the December K1 Filers at CSC? That they're doing ours and stopped working on Dec I-130s? If so, I would appreciate you not use the Dec K1's as an excuse for your waiting pains. TWO DIFFERENT CATAGORIES. That's like saying, the Dec B1/B2 Filer's are getting approved and they stopped working on the Dec IR1/ CR1's... blah blah" Nonsense.

Are you aware of the November 2010 transfer of 36,000 cases of immediate family petitions (IR-1/CR1) that were transfered from CSC to TSC and then some back to CSC in Feb 2011? Those filers were from LAST SUMMER: June, July and August IR1/ CR-1's 2010 --- some of them waited over 6-7 mos for their NOA2. That backlog seems to be catching up now and you should be glad you didn't file in those months; your wait would be much worse than it is today! Ask any of them what it was like.

Need Reference?

1. http://www.usvisa.com/delayed_immediate_relative_petitions_40form_i13041_at_texas_service_center.shtml

2. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/294698-uscis-admits-problem-with-csc-to-tsc-transfer/

That's where the backlog is and what got your group stopped up. Not us. Further, you should be happy for anyone who gets an approval and congratulate, instead of a seemingly negative nancy attitude towards our group specifically as you pointed out, because you do not have yours...YET!

By the way, we have many K1's still waiting, just like you. Doesn't matter to us whether they be from VSC or CSC, they're still Dec K1's. Everybody waits. USCIS says their goal time is 5+ mos and that is not a promise, it's an estimate.

When you do get yours, you will see many people from the VJ Family congratulate you and it won't matter which category or service center they come from either.

So take it easy and hang in there!!

IT IS COMING and PROBABLY RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!

Good Luck,

Mari

Its not like the USCIS sets out to discriminate against certain types of applications. As we've read in countless other postings, they play catch up with all of us at some point. They are not stupid enough to set themselves up for a potential lawsuit. During the months when they were approving CR1 petitions the K1 people werent staging a protest asking what happened to us. We patiently waited, vented, and discussed workouts and recipes. This crab mentality of pulling each other down to try and get out first is not going to do anyone any good. That comment sounded like, if I cant have it, neither should you. We all have to wait our turn just like we learned in kindergarten. Congratulations to all those who've received their approvals! It gives me hope that my turn is coming soon.

Absolutely it is crazy to think that USCIS workers are purposely neglecting one group of petitioners! On other posts we have been cautioned at putting much faith in IGOR's list, and yes I admit at being one of the beneficaries who constantly checked! Clearly this is a long stressful process for all filers, no matter the type of visa applied for. On VJ there are numerous supports and suggestions for people who have been waiting past the acceptable wait time listed on the USCIS site. I truly feel that the VJ site was meant to be supportive of all filers, not a thread to lash out at people who are approved before others. Be happy for approvals and keep praying and supporting those waiting!

Wishing a speedy approval for all,

Lise

How can K1's get faster processing times than CR1? This does not sound right to me.
