hahahaha! And if my laptop can only do things automatically,, it will open the USCIS website for me and type in my receipt number and pull out the data by itself every 5 minutes! hehehe,,, good thing technology have not gone that far or else... :bonk:

No news today?

October 2008 - we first met each other at work (Makati, Philippines)

February 2010 - we finally admitted that we are in love (yay!)

Mar 18-Apr 5, 2010 - hubby went to the Philippines for vacation to celebrate his birthday

March 31, 2010 - engagement day!! yay!!

August 21-29, 2010 - hubby went back again to PH for the wedding prep

October 19-November 2, 2010 - hubby arrived in PH for our wedding :)

October 23, 2010 - WEDDING DAY!!

March 18-28, 2011 - hubby's visit to Philippines for his bday (2nd bday together)

USCIS Stage - 136 days for USCIS journey

December 2, 2010 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

December 6, 2010 - I-130 received!! yay!!

December 13, 2010 - NOA1 text message received!

December 16, 2010 - NOA1 hard copy received in the mail

April 28, 2011 - NOA2!!! Thank you LORD!

NVC Stage - 21 days for NVC journey

May 2, 2011 - NOA2 hard copy received in the mail; NVC received our case

May 6, 2011 - Case number and IIN ; DS3230 sent by beneficiary through email to NVC

May 10, 2011 - AOS bill invoiced and paid

May 13, 2011 - IV bill generated and paid

May 16, 2011 - IV bill shows "PAID" ; AOS and DS230 packets sent to NVC

May 18, 2011 - NVC received both packets

May 19, 2011 - Medical exam - PASSED!!! :)

May 27, 2011 - Sign in Failed and Case Complete!!! Woot!

June 9, 2011 - Interview date assigned

July 14, 2011 - Interview @8:30am - APPROVED!!!!

July 21, 2011 - Visa Received! FINALLY!

July 23, 2011 - POE - Salt Lake City, Utah *home sweet home*

There were 19 approvals for the past 2 days (11th and 12th) for K1 visa. 8 of those 19 got their NOA1 December 2010. Only 2 for IR/CR1.. I hope we'll see more today :)

and I am checking the USCIS website again for updates while doing this :yes: Good heavens! :no:

So i spoke to a friend of mine who is also brining his wife from Serbia and had VSC. He told me he called them a couple of times and complained about how he isn't making any money because he is back and forth to be with his wife and all this other stuff and to my surprise he got his NOA2 less than 5 months after the NOA1. (he sent the package mid or late oct)

Congrats to them :) and come on I want some news for me too.. I havent even had a "touch" since feb.. please oh please oh please..

I dont know if anyone ever decided to exchange emails but mine is the.stranges@live.com if anyone would like to keep in touch I also have a facebook :)

My priority date is Dec 8th, how come i have not received my noa2 letter yet... also .... how long does it take at NVC after we get noa2.. does it take 4 months?

Because the USCIS does things in their own way and their own time; plus you're not even at your 5 month mark yet, so be patient.

The time at NVC really depends on the beneficiary (and somewhat the petitioner) being ready for that stage, and having all documents required ready to go. If you're on top of things, you'll have already gotten (or in the process of getting) all documents; getting them translated if necessary, and have already found the AOS and actual visa application forms and have filled them out. Look to Loto's guide or LingChe's shortcuts for getting through NVC, and you'll be fine.
