Hello friends...

So I sent all my documents like birth certificate, police cert., 5x5 passportpics to my husband last week and there is still no sign.... I paid extra for priority handling and everything. Also my receipt number doesn't work and I asked the post about it but they say that there is a glitch (do they always use this excuse????) The post guy said it should be there by now... Now I'm kind of nervous... I don't want to spend 2 days again getting these things again! (I would have gotten more, but in Austria you need to state a purpose for these forms, and if you get them without one, they are much more expensive. I wanted an additional copy and they said that "just getting one extra in case it gets lost" isn't a purpose)

Any advice, except keep waiting

When exactly did you send it? What I noticed with my mail is it takes exactly a week for the REGULAR airmail to get there but when I pay addl fees for "protection" like priority handling and whatnot it usually takes 2 days longer at least. So don't worry, Give it some more time.

I just sent off my packet to my hubby as well a few days ago. Then today I realised I forgot to fill out and add DS3032 to it, aaargh. I'll just have to print it and send it separately. After all, we have all the time in the world, right? Unfortunately.

Did you have your birth cert Apostilled? I was on the fence about it and then decided not to. It doesn't say anywhere that it's required. Hope that doesn't get me an RFE, though.

Our case isn't working on their website too. Hubby called USCIS two days ago and asked for a tier 2 person. It has been almost 4 month and they still have the same excuse - glitch in the system. The tier 2 person said that we should hear about our NOA2/RFE from them from April 20 - May 5. That is great news! Well, we don't really rely on that. Not unless we see our NOA2 or RFE(please no!) in the mail box.

I will send the DS3032 electronically, because after reading posts I thought it will be faster. No, I didn't apostilled it, but I got a special "international" birth certificate, which is only a couple €s more. We have a choice between just one in German and one in all the EU-languages and it also states in English that it is legitimate according to all sorts of conventions. I also got this international marriage certificate. I hope that's enough.

If they would want it apostilled, they would say it I think... It is not normal to want it and not state it, I think...

I'm planning to send my DS3032 electronically as well. But just to be sure, I want to mail hard copy to my hubby so he can mail it to them in case they don't accept my email.

well, i'm glad you guys know what your doing hahaha you all sound so smart I have no idea what all this paperwork your talking about is I guess i'm a bit behind here lol.....meh that's always the case with me though hehe I hope we get our NOA2's before may!!! crossing my fingers for everyone!

Wow, did you see all the Nov. approvals? It will be our time soon...

Today was the most beautiful spring day here in Vienna... God, I love spring It's so much easier to stay positive... And my hubby will come in only 69 days... Life is good right now.

Yeah, that's good... Thanks for the update, I put the new date into my spreadsheet... jim brown also got touched on the same day like you, and he's a Nov filer (NOA 1 11/24)... Maybe they start working on the box where we're all in, or at least the early Dec/ late Nov filer... I know, I know all speculation, but I've always been a huge fan of crime solving shows and this is all like a big puzzle...
