There's a December Filer, December 3, 2010) (NOA1 dated December 7) who got their NOA2 on March 23, 2011!!!!! We're getting all real close! My goodness! I can't wait!

Don't mean to make anyone sad.. just knowing that we can all provide a comfort to each other.. families and friends can be there but who better than people who are actually experiencing the drama..lol..

Although I cannot guarantee my guess.. If things flow the way they are now with the Nov NOA2s then end of April seems to be around our time.. if not first week of May..

Philip and I are thinking about doing an extended visit.. trying to work around things and not miss an interview or anything.. but like I told him we cant hold our breath and wait around to hear something from them.. who knows how long we wouldnt breath..

Anyone know if you can use the VWP during an impending I-130?

USCIS and the consulates (at least the one in Vienna) advise to not try it... But with strong bonds to home country it might work... But I personally wouldn't risk it... Good luck!

Apparently it's a hit or miss type of situation but if you show strong ties to your home country technically you shouldn't have a problem.

I am definitely giving it a try. Especially since it'll be during or close to the NVC stage.

I would think once we get our NOA2's the CBP's shouldn't have any issues with us visiting. After all, we'll have been approved already. So mid to late May should be a GO!

From what I've read on the forums, I don't think you can, because you have clear immigrant intent (the impending I-130). However, because I'm really unfamiliar with the whole VWP, I'd ask on the forums and not just in this thread.

We should see early Dec approvals in a couple weeks. This is getting EXCITING!

Boy am I glad I have stuff to do in the meantime. Has anybody started packing yet? Shipping stuff overseas?

I'm planning to pack my whole flat - books, winter clothes (goodbye, winter!), kitchen etc. and start shipping it all out throughout April. Hope I'm not going to jinx my luck doing that. I just have to keep busy, work is not cutting it for me. Gotta do more. Otherwise I'll go nuts

It is indeed exciting! Hubby went back to the States today. It's sad (as always) but at the same time, we're excited to get our NOA2 soon!

He took my clothes with him (as much as he could, he brought 3 big suitcases) and we both feel that we are really starting to spend our lives together and build our family. He's more excited unpacking now and put my clothes in our closet, gives us both hope to be reunited soon!

I know it will come soon for all of us! We have faith in Him..

Wow... How much is it to ship all that? Shipping from Austria is super expensive, sometimes my Mom or I take presents, meds,... to Poland and ship it from there to friends/family in the US because it's only a fraction of the cost... But still... Wow.

I only take one bag since I brought one bag last time and my parents and sister will visit too, so they can take more stuff... I slowly want to get things over, but I still want to leave things here for when I visit... And it's a perfect excuse to go shopping with my hubby and have him buy me new shoes and clothes, right?

Awwww, how sweet. And in the meantime, my hubby came to visit me and left a whole bunch of clothes behind HERE IN POLAND, Just couldn't squeeze it all in his bag and figured he wouldn't need them right away.

I can't believe the time is coming for us. It's even hard to imagine this new reality sometimes. My hubby keeps telling me he can't wait for his life to finally BEGIN once I get there because this now just doesn't feel like life.

Just to share some more info about us: He's buying us a house as we speak. We are soooo excited! Yes, it looks like a hot dog stand, it's tiny and not very pretty but oh well. It will be OUR house and we'll make it great. I've only seen it in pictures and it sucks not being there for this big moment but gladly we have this 21st century technology and I can "see" the house from all kinds of different angles on my laptop :-)

Anyway, hang in there everyone. WE'RE NEXT!!
