Hello,

We are in the process of getting out packet together as we speak. Going to be sending if off in the next week. Scared, Nervous and Excited.. My hubby goes home (UK) on the 8th and we will see how fast we can get through this to be together again.

it took 6 weeks for us to finish all the paper work. This site will help you a lot and will give you ideas on what to send and what not (overloading). Hope we'll get a smooth and quick processing time. It's so hard to be away with your husband/wife..

well from reading the whole CSC to TSC exodus thread then I'm hoping that CSC's workload is a lot lighter than it was before so it makes way for us OCT-NOV-DEC filers to sneak in a bit quicker. (that's just me being OVERLY optimistic)

We finally got our NOA1 text message today! yay! It's being sent to the CSC though...boooo! Oh well, we'll keep hoping for an error-free process.

We finally got our NOA1 hard copy in the mail today. I just wanna ask if there's anyone else who filed their I-130 this month and was transferred to other service center aside from CSC? We are staying positive but I'm just a little bit worried about the time it will take to get the NOA2 from all the threads that we've read about CSC.. Anyone who got other service center?

Nobody can say for sure what it will be like in a few months, but right now CSC is moving moving moving! And VSC and TSC seem to be pretty much at a stand-still. Hopefully that bodes well for you. Good luck!

Thanks! I hope we get our 5-month goal.. although we know that it depends now on how fast they can process it and if there will be no error (really hoping there's none). I am just not really good in waiting..

Congrats! I know those feelings! I'm still at the beginning myself. We just sent in our I-130 Nov. 29. I should be getting the NOA1 next week in the mail.

Wow, I'm glad I'm with the California Service Center!!!

Nobody can say for sure what it will be like in a few months, but right now CSC is moving moving moving! And VSC and TSC seem to be pretty much at a stand-still. Hopefully that bodes well for you. Good luck!

It's not 100% accurate, but a lot of it is just based on anecdotal evidence as seen here on VJ. There have been very few NOA2s from Vermont in the last month or two. You can also click on the "Immigration Timelines" link on the header and sort by visa type and service center; it'll give you a general idea of how long the most recent NOA2s have been taking. I hope yours is fast!

I hope CSC will keep on moving and approve all those petitions that went beyond the 5-month/6-month mark. We all just have to stay positive now sine all that we can do is just to wait.. it sucks bigtime.. oh well.

told you after the NOA1 the waiting will just suck.

it's ok. hopefully after the holidays everyone at the uscis offices will start the new year cranking out the approvals.
