I can't check my case status on the USCIS website either. I got the WAC NOA1 number, but when I signed up on the USCIS site and put in the number, it said something about my receipt number being invalid.

There are a lot of people having this problem. Unfortunately not much can be done about it! Sorry!

@chako: You need to make an account on the USCIS website. When you go there, click on sign in, and then scroll down to the bottom of the page - click on the 'register' link. Once you make an account, you can then see if you have been 'touched'. But don't put too much stock in a 'touch'; there have been many people who have gotten approvals without getting touches. Also, there are a lot of Dec/Jan filers who can't get their case number to work on the site, which also doesn't mean anything other than you can't log in to check touches.

@Daria: We went to a ticker site, made our tickers, then copy/pasted the coding into our signatures, which will then append the ticker to every post you make. www.tickerfactory.com is the most popular, but there are others out there.

Yes. Our receipt number isn't working. We're 2 months in the journey now and we already called USCIS regarding our receipt number not showing on their website. They said it's normal and if you already read the other thread in this forum, a lot of people can't view their case online too. All we can do is just to wait for the hard copy.

Even my number is not coming up on the USCIS WEBSITE.... so i decided to call them and they said that my case is in the system.... and all i can do is wait... they said that it might take 5 months for processing.. did any one received NOA2 ...... i received noa1 on dec 8th 2010.....
