You should be fine. Worry not so much about the electronic notification and look forward to the physical NOA1 in the mail. Happy filing.

Im trying not to pull my hair out yet  I imagine my insomnia will get worse when beau tells me that he has the the physical NOA11. Speaking of which, is a petitioner's reply or confirmation required once the NOA1 had reached his doorstep? Fiance will be visiting his daughter for a week by the end of the month, and I'll be darned if the hard copy is sent to him while he is on vacation.

its a relief to know that someone was in the same boat as i am in now, altho of course in my case, it is still a tad early. UPS website reflects that the package was received at Lewisville, Texas on Nov. 30. I am not exactly sure, so anyone can correct me on this, but our package may have been to redirected to Dallas lockbox. Just the same, I'll ask fiance to check his bank statement. Thank you for sharing your experience, and may you have a smooth sailing journey!

our too was redirected: I got confused about where to send as I sent it by USPS (one address) but used express mail (another address) but using the USS services. So took one day longer to get to the right address, but still got the NOA1 a couple of days after that. So you needn't worry at all, as long as it says that it arrived and when you see the check clearing, you are safe!!

No, it's sent by regular mail so no signature required: he should just enjoy his vacation

lol kiwibird! yes we just started with the process, but as i look at the other members' time lines, worries pile over one another. i really thought that he will get an email or text as soon as the package is received, which is why we included the G-1145 form, before he can expect for the NOA1.

Thanks for the assurance :)

I did the same thing... Found worry after worry. I stopped looking at timelines, try to stop thinking about it all day, and just go on with my day as I normally would. It is much easier this way. I rarely check the website anymore due to the tremendous agreement that it is not up to par. Now I just check the mail every morning in hopes that my letter will be there. As for your NOA1, you will get it very soon, I promise. Good luck! and stop worrying, everything will be ok.

thank you for the assurance timestamp. I thought my worries will lessen when we mailed the package, but with what I've been feeling, package posting is just the tip of the iceberg! I pray that I wont start growing grey hair as I wait for things to get moving. I will let him know what to expect for the hard copy of the NOA1, so he can talk to the barracks reception personnel, thank you for answering my question. Good luck with your journey!

I'm trying to live as normally as I can, and lessen the stress I've gone through in compiling the package. I must admit that the 8 year wait, and his constant career and interstate moves have put a strain between us. I am hoping that things will improve as we move to the next chapter. Thank you very much for your tip, and i wish you good luck in your journey as well :)
