Helllo all! I believe I am a member of the December NVC 2010 thread....I think i lean closer to Dec! Hope everyone is doing great! I do have a few questions!

I called NVC today to fix my hubbys address. I have everything in order for the NVC now , the last thng I'm getting is the employment letter from my parents work place, although the checklist/instructions on the I-864 say "and/or" employment letter, is it really needed, because it's the last thing I need on my checklist.

Also I sometimes read that I should fill out a I-864EZ what is the difference with a I-864 & I-864ez. The ones I have is the I-864 Affida Of Support.

Because I'm unemployed right now and I live with my parents, they each filled out a I-864A , now they file taxes jointly, do i need to copy their tax papers twice one for my dads I-864A, and one for my moms? Because the papers are exactly the same.

The checklist for the aos says fedral tax and W2 ......I have provided the 1040EZ & W2's for myself, and parents...is that enough ....what is the 1099? do I need that also !

Last question! :blush: my sister also lives at home she is over 21 but on my parents 2007 and 2008 taxes she was put down as a dependent, but not on the 2009 (latest) Do I have to put her down in that litle household number count thing?

Employment letter is recommended to prove current year income. Include current year paystubs too.

I-864EZ is the short version. To qualify to file EZ version, ALL the following conditions must apply:

1. You are the person who filed or is filing the Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, for a relative being sponsored;

2. The relative you are sponsoring is the only person listed on the Form I-130 petition;

3. The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on your salary or pension and is shown on one or more Forms W-2 provided by your employer(s) or former employer(s).

Since they are married filing jointly, one copy of tax documents is enough.

If you send 1040EZ, you don't have schedules, that's the reason IRS created 1040EZ.

But parents must have used regular 1040. So, ALL the 1040 schedules are also needed.

1099 is mainly used by the self employed people. Regular employees will always have W-2.

Sooo umm...my AVR says the same line about me missing info from my AOS but when I try to log in to the payment portal 15 minutes again ( I tried just for fun..) I got:

Sign In Failed

* Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error.

I'm on hold with the NVC right now. If this is true, that means that I got an expedite for my case (since they had only received the RFE's yesterday and we all know how friggin long it takes the NVC to see that that actually have mail and give it to someone to review). Hurry up operators...answer the phone. I can't be happy if this is false. I need to know...eeekkk...hurry and answer the phone!

Ummm wow...I am FREAKING OUT!!!!!! :girlwerewolf2xn::help: So the operator said that they GRANTED MY EXPEDITE REQUEST (ok so I didn't ask for it to be expedited!!! I asked for them to allow my husband to bring the corrected nonsense to an interview and for them to let us be done in time for January interview scheduling). then she said that they SENT OUR CASE TO THE EMBASSY AS OF TODAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! WHAT THE.... :help: So I know I am reacting funny for sure but part of it is because I can't believe it! And since it is Friday, I have to wait the weekend and then some to figure out of the EMBASSY has our case to schedule the interview! Also because I haven't seen him for oh...17 months now and my coping mechanism is to be numb and not feel anything at all...so my emotions are a bit wacky to say the least when I do experience them. Plus, my husband called yesterday and today to inform me that he doesn't have a cell phone anymore so he will call me when he can. Thank goodness he is planning on calling tomorrow! EEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!! :dead: A million things are racing through my mind right now and I just need to shut my mind off. Please...someone...help me shut my mind off! Good grief...this weekend can't end sooooooooonnnnnnnnnnn enough and it has barely begun!!!

Anywho...back to rest of everyone...I hope to hear some good news from all of you!

Ummm wow...I am FREAKING OUT!!!!!! :girlwerewolf2xn::help: So the operator said that they GRANTED MY EXPEDITE REQUEST (ok so I didn't ask for it to be expedited!!! I asked for them to allow my husband to bring the corrected nonsense to an interview and for them to let us be done in time for January interview scheduling). then she said that they SENT OUR CASE TO THE EMBASSY AS OF TODAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! WHAT THE.... :help: So I know I am reacting funny for sure but part of it is because I can't believe it! And since it is Friday, I have to wait the weekend and then some to figure out of the EMBASSY has our case to schedule the interview! Also because I haven't seen him for oh...17 months now and my coping mechanism is to be numb and not feel anything at all...so my emotions are a bit wacky to say the least when I do experience them. Plus, my husband called yesterday and today to inform me that he doesn't have a cell phone anymore so he will call me when he can. Thank goodness he is planning on calling tomorrow! EEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!! :dead: A million things are racing through my mind right now and I just need to shut my mind off. Please...someone...help me shut my mind off! Good grief...this weekend can't end sooooooooonnnnnnnnnnn enough and it has barely begun!!!

Anywho...back to rest of everyone...I hope to hear some good news from all of you!
