I think I win the "biggest loser" award for being in the NVC for almost 6 months...

I hope everyone in here gets some good news this week!

Due to my husband not calling the embassy today (big shock...NOT!) I don't know yet when he will have an interview. he better hope they didn't make it for Wednesday.

Anybody got similar message after emailing to DS-3032 to NVC?

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC is unable to add third party contact information to the case record at this time. Please continue to notify the NVC if your address changes.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

i think about the same time your AOS fee is ready to be paid, you can send in the Choice of Agent again.

afterwhich your IV bill should be up and ready to be paid.

I'm in too!! Thanks Teya. Today got good news from my hubby. AVR message changed, they have all our documents inside system. Yuppi!!!!! They got entered on 1 DECEMBER, which was Romania National Day!! I feel this update like a little gift already. Hoping by Xmas more good surprises from NVC Santa!! haha

What address did ya guys send all your stuff to NVC ? that rochester portsmouth one? Also is there a certain carrier I have to use to mail it......I was just going to the post office and send it like that, with the signature required paper and track it. my packet feels thick lol I hope all goes well!

You can use any carrie you want but you might want to overnight/express mail it. The sooner it gets to NVC the sooner it will get reviewed. ALso send it to the address noted on the cover sheet you printed out from the payment portal.

I just mailed in my AOS and IV package to the NVC. I have been reading about documents to bring to the interview and the instructions explain to bring originals documents. How can a person bring original documents to the interview when the original documents were sent to the NVC? When exactly are the original documents returned?

Original are returned right after the interview is over.

The originals are returned some times. It is always best to ask for them before the CO forgets. Also, you might get told that they will be sent along in the "DO NOT OPEN" envelope.

Finally got our NVC Case # and IIN, and updated email addresses! Soooo...I logged in, and the AOS fee was there. It let me pay it...so I did! Is that ok? Even though I haven't received emails from NVC yet?
