Hi, I got married in the Philippines 20 years ago. got divorced about 3 years ago.

In may I went on internet and met Judy, went to visit her in PI in October.

we are engaged. I'm filling in the I-129f.

line 11 wants me to list who I have petitioned in the past along with the place and date.

"Who is easy" Where can probably be deduced, I'm worried about coming up with exact dates.

If "we" even kept that paper work, my ex has it now. she would rather put out her eye with

a hot poker than help me bring another woman over here to marry.

I brought my wife and 7 year old son over to start with and 18 months later her 2 teenage daughters.

I was in college and had to graduate before I could afford the daughters.

Since I lived in San Diego, I'm guessing there was a california INS and that is where I would have had

to apply. I married her about a week before coming back to the states. Is it possible that I applied directly

at the embassy. I know I went there at least once but it may have been to just pick up the application.

20 years is a long time ago.

Is it possible the USCIS could tell me the dates before I send in the application, so they don't RFE me.

Anybody know how long they keep their records?

I'm not sure if the girls were piggybacked in on the original application or how that worked. I'm on pretty good terms

with one of the daughters, In fact I paid her fee to become a citizen a few years back. I assume she would still have

some paperwork from that application. Would that have the date of her original visa application?

Her sister is still a permanent resident, would her green card number be something the USCIS could just plug into their

computer and then give me a date? I think I read somewhere on this site that trying to call the USCIS is not a fun experience.

Thanks

Dan

Give as much information as you can. You should at least know the name, year and something about the result.
