Hopefully I will be getting NOA2 soon. I do not want the attorney I hired to file the I-130 to help with the NVC process..would rather do it myself. Do I need to inform USCIS (my I-130 is now being processed at a local USCIS office)? Or just wait until NVC receives case and inform NVC? Any help would be appreiciated.

Kevin

We got rid of our lawyer just before NVC too. USCIS doesn't really care. But NVC will as your choice of agent will automatically be your lawyer if you do not inform NVC as soon as possible (as in right when you get your case number). Failing to do so can really slow down your case as everything will go through your lawyer and not you.

good luck
