Hi,

Has anyone successfully reached the US Embassy in Manila, Philippines in the last 3 days using the 1-888-877-9888 number? I have been trying now for 3 days to connect to that number from the United States to schedule my fiancee's K1-visa interview and it has failed as follows:

1. Skype: "Failed to connect"

2. Cellphone: Looped recording: "You have reached a nonworking number" then some error code I can't understand.

3. Land line: Recording: "There is a problem with the telephone carrier. Please try again later"

I am calling from 8:30 am - 12 noon Manila time (7:30 pm - 11 pm her in the States). It is the strangest thing. If someone can confirm they are having the same problem or that I am doing something wrong, I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks!

-Scott

Thanks! Yes everything has changed including the phone number. A word of warning to others in my shoes, you also need to pay for the interview ($350) before you can schedule your appointment. And its BPI bank now and not BDO. Thanks again!
