LGC, I hope the P3 has been sent out. It hasn't been received yet. The DOS operator said it was sent out, but to be honest,She wasn't very forthcoming with info. I kept asking her questions. She may have said that just

to get me to shut up and hang up. I don't know where to call to see if the Packet 3 has been sent out.Do we call the Consulate, check a website, or call DOS again?

yeah, the woman at DOS yesterday also kind of not forthcoming as well. i called the consulate, they gave us the standard answer, use the online form you can find under "contact us". they got back to us within 24 hours with a standard answer. your files can take up to 4 months to reach the consulate, they will process the files with in 2-3 months after they got the files.

the only thing you can do is keep calling DOS. i am planning keep calling DOS every few days ask for update.

man, seem the whole process is fill with unknown and not so transparent. i thought after uscis things will be better at least more open, but all the same......

The whole process is a real drag. I guess they want to discourage people. Waiting sucks seems like my whole life is on hold.

No, she has not received her P3 yet. I am talking to her right now on Skype. I guess we may have to wait a while. hopefully not 3 months in Chinese Customs Warehouse. Bill

Congrats！ My girls was out of town to visit college roomates. i did called friday, they cant give me more info. other than still not reach the china consulate yet.

hope she came home to a surprise. that will make my Xmas wish this year.

LGC, I don't know how they send it in China, if they send it Certified, restricted delivery, or if regular mail that anyone can receive. But our timelines are alost identical, so hopefully your Fiance will receive it quick.

I know you are probably like me,reading what we can and guessing on how to continue.Did you see my other post, asking about what to send with the Packet 3? Do we send all the documents listed on the OP 169, or just mark them off that we have them and carry them to the Consulate the day before the Interview. It makes more sense to me to mail in all the documents, that way they have time to look at our evidence before the interview, But to be honest I did mail in all that info with my I-129F. I know I may sound stupid asking this, but I have always thought the only stupid question, is the one not asked. Thanks Bill

dont mail in everything. i cant remeber, let me check with my fiancee once she back in town. i know only couple things are needed for package 3, all other are for interview. have you send the I134 and others to your fiancee for interview yet? i did that 1 week ago. i know it take sometime to get there. so if you already have everything send them over to her.

LGC, yes I sent her my I-134 and supporting documents, So she has everything she needs on the 169 Form, I just don't know if she needs to mail all that stuff in with her Packet 3 or save them for her interview.The Interviews seem to go very fast, only a couple of minutes, So I would assume they would want all the info in advance, and only ask her at the interview for something else they need but didn't receive.

And sorry to burst your bubble, but no way your Fiance will be here for Christmas, or New Years. It normally takes at least 4 weeks to get the interview after they receive the Packet 3 back. You still have a minimum of 4 to 5 weeks left. But after how long we have already waited, 4 to 5 weeks in nothing. Bill

LGC, Just wondering, Has your Fiance received her Packet 3 yet? Mine got hers a week ago. We are still waiting for the Packet 4 and interview date.I hope we get 4 before Christmas, But it looks like end of January to first of Feb before the interview. I also was hoping to have her here before Christmas, but that ship has already sailed.Now I am hoping for Valentines Day. Good Luck, I wish you a rapid reunion. Bill
