Timeline

today i sent my package. now what? anything else i have to do? thanks in advance. i am guessing it will take about 3-4 months before i can see my wife again. thanks in advance.

Which pkg did you send? 3-4 months before you see the wife again?

opss changed my profile. should go ahead and do my timeline. ya i am hoping my wife gets her interview within the next two to three months. then i will see my suga momma again. err if everything goes smoothly that is. hell i am gonna hire me a vietnamese lawyer to the interview.

All a VN lawyer can do for you is prepare for the interview and do paperwork. Things you can do yourself.

They do not go into the consulate during the interview and they do not go meet with a CO if your case is put into AP or worse denied. IMO, a waste of money.

i sent mine in august and my wife haven't got her interview letter yet. i called nvc many times and all they can say is they are waiting for the consulate in hcmc to send my wife her interview letter and seems like it's not going to be in january. so don't think 3-4 months, i hate for you to be disappointed like me. my wife and I just have to patiently wait and not count the days and months.
