I have my interview on the 21st and I just wanted to know if there are any recent members that have gone through the Detroit office,and if so, what was there experience. What type of questions they asked? How the officers treated you etc. Thank you.

do they hold against you if you don't have enough joint evidence cause all we have is a joint bank account and both names on a title to a car. We live with my parents right now so we don't have a lease or utilities in our name.

They are generally easier on newlyweds because they know you don't have a lot of time to build evidence, and furthermore, there is a built-in check system, in that in two years you have to show you are still married and provide them with lots of evidence to remove conditions on the greencard (though there is a waiver in the case of divorce if the marriage was entered in good faith). While they understand you have less evidence than an established couple, you still have to prove that you did not enter in this marriage to defraud the immigration system. Just gather as much evidence as you can, and be confident. Good luck.
