Initial Review

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

is anybody here recieved letter like that? what initial review means?we are from august filers...

To me seem as though the office that was handling your case sent it to another office.. sometimes fied office help to help meet quota. Other thing I could think of is that the case was just tranf. to the appropriate office that will not process your case file.

Apr 30 2012 - Pay AOS fee
Oct 15 2012 - Pay IV fee
Oct 25 2012 - Sent AOS/IV Package
Oct 29 2012 - Pkg Delivered
Dec 24 2012 - Case Complete
May 17 2013 - Interview-Approved

July 19 2013 - Enter the USA

at first they send the papers to CSC then last Nov 2, we recieved e mail that they transferred the papers to TSC and now we recieved another letter again and they said INITIAL Review...thats why im confused about it. or maybe you are right also they send the papers to appropriate office then..thank you for your reply..God bless us.

i got the same mail on 11/24 and still no updates till now !

USCIS

07-15-2010: I-130 package mailed.

07-21-2010: Received NOA1 hard copy.

11-02-2010: Case transfered from CSC to TSC

11-03-2010: Updated

11-04-2010: Updated

11-24-2010: Updated (Case transfered to a USCIS office !!!)

02/09/2011: Updated

02/11/2011: Updated

02/22/2011: Approved

02/23/2011: Updated

02/28/2011: Updated

NVC

03/10/2011: Case number assigned

03/14/2011: Email of the DS-3032 form

03/15/2011: Acceptance of the DS-3032 form

03/16/2011: AOS Fee in process

03/17/2011: IV Fee in process

03/19/2011: AOS Fee PAID

03/19/2011: IV Fee PAID

03/18/2011: Sent IV package to my husband

03/23/2011: IV and AOS packages sent to NVC

i got the same mail on 11/24 and still no updates till now !

wow u are july filers! u are more than ahead than us..well thank you.. hope they're going to give us gifts this Christmas.
