Your bias against Europeans with accents is showing. If this guy sounded Latin American, would you accuse him of sounding like a crazy follower of Che? Probably not.

Neat. Do you trust his data? Is $40,000 adjusted for a particular timeframe? Obviously in 1810 no one earned $40K that was a princely sum then. Today, it's not very much in 1st world countries and doesn't really define "rich". I guess it must be keyed to something like 1970 values?

I betcha there are counties in the USA that he could pull his trick of popping out of the bubble, and they'd also land in sub Saharan Africa.
