Isabel and Esabel name discrepancy.

My name is Isabel. I am an elderly woman in her sixties who has overstayed visitor visa by seven years. My daughter will file for my green card or AOS. She is now a US Citizen.

My expired passport has a spelling error ESABEL. Visa ESABEL. I-94 ESABEL.

Name on Birth Certificate Isabel. My marriage certificate Isabel. Listed as mother Isabel on my daughter's birth certificate.

I am filing as Isabel. What should I do about the name discrepancy? My thoughts were to get a new passport in my correct name Isabel. What about affidavit of name discrepancy that states Isabel/Esabel are one and the same person. All suggestions appreciated. Could this be grounds for denial? Thank you.

You can put Esabel under "other names used" on your G-325A form. Use the correct version everywhere else. Good luck.
