I was just sitting here thinking and wondering if the NVC has ever read about us here at VJ? Do they know about our long waits, do they care? We are real and genuine and want to do everything the legal way to be with our loved ones. We are rare, but our resolve is strong. How many other couples do you know that have to wait so long to live with their wives and husbands? It is tough, but I was just scratching my head hoping they understand us here and well..I'd rather they be working on our case than reading VJ, but hey...everyone one has "some" spare time... :P

This is a good question, I've been wondering the same thing! I bet they do, and they gossip about everything they read during their leisurely lunch break. :rofl:

04/08/11: NVC robot says they are "Awaiting my Biographic Data" which I assume means they reviewed my I-864

04/11/11: NVC is saying I am missing info, that I did not send in all my documents.

04.14.11: NVC is saying i never emailed anything. I contacted my senate office, who is getting things handled for me at NVC.

05.12.11: OMG SIF!

07.11.11-INTERVIEW DATE!

it wouldnt be a bad idea for sites like these to be monitored, definitely with the personal info that is given it wouldnt be impossible to match up cases with online people. we know without doubt that social sites are used to monitor people so why wouldnt they use every means available to catch fraud...

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

To many we are cases, that's it. I don't blame the workers entirely since they see hundreds of cases a week and have to remain skeptical at all steps. As to how many others have to wait so long to be with their loved ones? The military deployed overseas. They really have it tough.

I don't know about NVC, I would hope they are busy processing files! :lol:

However, I can tell you that some consulate officers at Montreal do read VJ. A filer last year was complimented during their interview on how well organized they were and they credited it to VJ. The officer then mentioned some details of another poster on VJ and their comments about the consulate. :o

All the information they need (and can use for their decisions) is in the packages they get and available on their Government networked computers.

Really, if I worked there, I would stay as far away from that subject as I could on my off hours...and I doubt they have much time for general web-surfing on the job.

Yeah I agree. 8 hours a day / 5 days a week looking at applications. Last thing I would want to do on my free time is come here.

i would think they would have someone doing that as a job... from what i understand some of the "background" they will do is net searches. they have your email (so hopefully you used a special one only for this process ;) then youre a blank slate), they have your phone number/s, your addresses (every one you've ever lived!), they have previous spouse names, they have everywhere you've ever worked, and then we go to next level... they have that on your parents as well.
