i completed my early bio at the atlanta asc on 01/19/11.

I just got my biometrics apt for Feb 8. Plese update the list when you get the chance. It seems like the biometrics for VSC filers in the DC-area are taking about 2 months to schedule from the time I-751 is sent.

Had my biometrics today in Boston, in and out in about 10 mins! One thing I would stress is bringing your green card as your ID, as they specifically asked for it.

Roll on speedy approvals for all!

Applying for Citizenship

17th January 2012 Sent in N-400 application

24th January 2012 Received conformation e-mail from USCIS

25th January 2012 Cheque cashed

13th February 2012 Biometrics appointment

5th March 2012 Received e-mail I am in line for interview scheduling

8th March 2012 Received letter for interview

12th April 2012 Interview date-approved

10th May 2012 Oath ceremony

Wife had her Biometrics early in the morning on 1/21/11 even though her appointment was for 3 pm at the Philadelphia ASC in NE Philly, Drummond Road. No questions asked about early biometric. Don't know if that would have been the case had she gone days earlier, but I suppose for those who live nearby and want to get it done early, it may be worth a trip.

We didn't receive any NOA or biometrics, but we called our attorney and he said that he received everything a week ago, and that our bio is on Feb 5. Tomorrow we will get all the documents from him. It's strange that we didn't get anything , because last time we and our attorney were getting the same correspondence.

How do they count 30 days? From NOA1 receipt 30 days right?

It's been forty days for us since noa1 and still no Bio appt. getting worried so I called today, they just took info and say wait another 30 days. Anyone else with problems with California service center ?

Same sea, different boat. Our case is on VSC (Vermont) but no Bio letter. I called last week, as it had been over 30 days. They put a service request and sent me an email saying that they are sorry, but my bio is pending due to limited capacity at the ASC (Application Supporting Center). I'm just waiting. But really? I was there last time 2 years ago, and there was another couple waiting, that's all. The place is big, I just don't understand this "limited capacity" #######. :bonk: But well, I'm waiting, patiently. :whistle:

We received NOA1 and Biometrics appointment letter only for Conditional Resident Mother. Did not receive any for 14 yr old dependent son who was included on same I-751 and extra biometric fees included. Should both mother and son just go for the biometrics appointment? Or is son expected to receive a separate notice. Please advise. Nick.

same sea, different boat here as well...we're not panicking...but...funny thing is , according to uscis, our local asc office is 5 min from our home and i drive by it quite frequently (not stalking !!...lol) and the parking lot is always empty...we've thought about calling, but haven't bothered...we'll gonna give it another week or two and see what happens...
