Thank you! BTW: We stopped off at the post office and filed for an expedited passport on the way home from the ceremony. Ten days to two weeks, we end our VisaJourney that began December 2006.

Anyways.....while im here...is it fair to say after the F.P is people getting there interview letters between 2/4 wks after F.P? or is it still a guessing game you think?

i would say that's right from reading other threads and posts it's usually within 2 to 4 weeks give or take to get your interview letter. good luck and i hope you get yours soon

.Im on day 16 since Bio ..so looking at some stats any day now Fingers crossed...:whistle:

yea i got an email about the status update to "Testing and interview" and apparently when you get that status update, it means that they have sent the interview letter out already. so you count like 7 days from the status update day and that when you get the interview letter in the mail. or at least that's what happened in my case

what do the Yellow letter say?

it says in bold, that "It's not an interview notice" and to bring my Driver license, old and current passports, and my tax copies for the past 3 years, i hope to get an interview letter in the next couple weeks

Iv'e read some get this so called yellow letter and some do not....some even have the yellow letter and a white interveiw letter the same day.. some don't get nothing :crying:

To me it seems to a waste of paper and labour.....i mean why don't they just send one letter with whatever details what needs to be added per a case by case instead of using this auto mailing ####### they have in place...then the applicant will have say 30 days to reply, via call a auto phone system plug in your details like you would to activate your credit card or something to confirm the applicant received the letter and everything is good to go...

That way there be no need to have wasted morans licking stamps all day long...but uscis just makes things more complicated than needs be... :whistle::bonk:

Iv'e read some get this so called yellow letter and some do not....some even have the yellow letter and a white interveiw letter the same day.. some don't get nothing :crying:

I agree, I guess this infamous yellow letter is just a heads up to tell you you're in queue for an interview and to give you extra time to get your papers ready in case you do not have them.

I expected my yellow letter to be like 12 item checklist, because listen to this, I SENT NOTHING WITH MY N400 APPLICATION, EXCEPT FOR 2 PHOTOS. NOTHING ELSE

so a check list with 3 items to bring to the interview is very nice of them

12/21/2010 Package delivered, (Day 5)

12/22/2010 Check cashed, (Day 6)

12/22/2010 NOA Date, (Day 6)

03/29/2011 Case Status Update: Testing and Interview (Day 102)

03/30/2011 Interview Letter sent (Day 103)

04/01/2011 Interview Letter received (Day 105)

05/09/2011 Interview Day - PASSED!! (Day 143)

05/20/2011 Case Status Update: Oath Ceremony!! (Day 154)

05/31/2011 Case Status Update: Ceremony notice sent (Day 165)

I got my yellow letter AFTER my interview letter. Just kind of a weird system.
