I just got an email that says this....

On January 7, 2011, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case N400 APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Thank you! BTW: We stopped off at the post office and filed for an expedited passport on the way home from the ceremony. Ten days to two weeks, we end our VisaJourney that began December 2006.

Wonderful !! Congratulations, now for my other question, where is the closest place for a walk in biometrics ? do I really have to go all the way to the Bronxs?

Ditto. I wonder whats the date that was given. You going to do the walk in?

My wife and I are applying together, so I'm probably going to stick to the date on the notice. Do you know if kids are allowed at the biometrics and interview appointments?

Received my biometrics letter January 3rd , appointment for January 25th :no: .

Biometrics TODAY :yes: January 7th as a walk in.

Hope all of you guys enjoyed a happy holiday and newyear.

There you go, i'm happy for you. i told you just wait and you will get it soon. i hope you get the letter in the mail soon and that's usually the update they put when they send out the biometrics notice

To be honest, i think that unless the biometrics appointment is like really late, i would just stick with the appointment they give out. because what if you do your biometrics early and then you get an early interview before your 3 year or 5 year anniversary?!!! then you would have to wait to get approved. so i think you should stick with what they give you. that's just my opinion

From what i saw when i went to get my biometrics done,there was a couple who had their son with them. so i think it's ok to take the kids to the biometrics, i don't know about the interview. hope that helps

I took my daughter last time ( she was 8 ) and she did not have an appointment, they never said a word about it.

To be honest, no i don't have any data. i'm just assuming, i always like to be on the safe side with USCIS. it seems like it works with a lot of people when they do an early biometrics walk in, but my concept is why take a chance?!!!! so yea hope that explains my theory :-)

12/11/2010 NOA 1 Received

12/27/2010 Received the Biometrics appointment letter. Appointment on 01/06/2011

01/06/2011 Biometrics Done

01/28/2011 Received the interview letter, Scheduled for 02/15/11 at San Francisco, CA

02/15/2011 Passed the Citizenship Interview, Thanks god

03/09/2011 I received my Oath letter scheduled for 03/23/2011 in Oakland, CA

03/23/2011 Finally became a US Citizen, it was a great Experience for the Oath Ceremony in Paramount Theatre.

03/24/2011 I applied for the Passport at San Francisco Passport Agency

03/25/2011 I received the Passport, FINALLY US Citizen, thanks god :-)
