hi folks

I am a bit confused with the residency date requirement. I am filing

my wifes citizenship, does the residency date start with the resident since from the

2 yr green card or the 10 yr permanent card that arrived after

The 2 yr card states resident since 1/28/08

The 10 yr card states resident since 11/28/08

Any help you can give is appreciated.

That is incorrect... the 2 year and 10 year GCs should have the same date!!! When did your AOS get approved... that's when.

I think it would be from 1/28 as your resident status was since 1/28 and not 11/28.

I am not even sure why u would have 2 different dates since the person was resident.

ya i am not sure either why they have diffrent dates. Thats why i was a bit confused.

I have to check my papers let me get back to you on that one
