My fiance has a friend that has told her that she will not pass her medical exam and get her visa since she has a couple bad teeth which need to be removed. I have told her that is nonsense but she is real worried now that she won't be able to pass the exam since she does not have all her teeth. Can someone please shed a little light on this subject as to what exactly the doctors look for and what can keep you from passing your physical. Thanks in advance.

Erm, I really don't think that 'bad teeth' matter - they will be more concerned with whether or not she has any communicable diseases

Unless tooth decay has suddenly been declared as a communicable or fatal disease, I think it's safe to say your friend's fears are unfounded.

Admitting to any kind of drug use is a surefire way to get you to fail your medical at St. Luke's.

The Medical Grounds of Inadmissability under U.S. Immigration law are divided into four categories:

1.communicbale diseases of public health significance.(TB and Syphilis)

2.Lack of required vaccinations.

3.Physical or Mental disorders with harmful behavior

4.Drug abuse or Addiction.

However, if she have bad teeth i would highly recommend to fix it in the Philippines because its way cheaper.

I was reading somewhere that bad teeth and bad eyesight was a reason for not passing the medical exam.

Actually this would be stupid since this is not something like a disease.

They won't even check your teeth in St. Luke. They will check your eyes though.
