guys..do i need to get or attend the CFO seminar before getting a passport? im a new applicant and im just confused about what to do first.. is it ok to get first the passport even without CFO seminar? do i only need to bring the marriage contract and birth certificate?

USCIS:

07/21/2010 - NOA1

02/07/2011 - NOA2 approved! 201 days since NOA1!!!

02/14/2011 - NOA2 HARDCOPY RECEIVED

NVC:

02/15/2011 - NVC case number assigned

02/16/2011 - emailed ds3032 to nvc

02/17/2011 - gave both our email address.

02/18/2011 - DS3032 accepted.

03/15/2011 - AOS & IV paid. both "IN PROCESS"

03/16/2011 - AOS & IV show's "PAID"

03/24/2011 - Mailed AOS & IV pack to nvc

04/13/19/2011 - received an RFE email from NVC about my ds-230 and AOS form =/

04/22/2011 - (ds230 & Aos)Checklist sent to nvc

05/04/2011 - Sign In Failed!!! :)

05/05/2011 - Case Complete! :)

05/16/2011 - Interview Scheduled!

06/09/2011 - Interview date "APPROVED"

MEDICAL:

03/21/2011 - first day

03/22/2011 - medical result: IMMUNIZATION! =) thank god.

POE:

06/17/2011 - Received VISA

06/21/2011 - poe to SF :)yay!

06/21/2013 - 2year green card expiration date!

03/20/2013 - Mailed I-751 overnight express

07/19/2013 - Received RFE

08/19/2013 - RFE Received by CSC

If you're married to a foreigner I believe they'll want you to attend the CFO seminar before getting you passport, especially if you want to use you married name. Since you will need the CFO seminar eventually anyway, it wont hurt to get it done now.

Go to http://epassport.com.ph and look at the list of documents you need to bring to get your passport. You can also schedule your appointment online.

If you're married to a foreigner I believe they'll want you to attend the CFO seminar before getting you passport, especially if you want to use you married name. Since you will need the CFO seminar eventually anyway, it wont hurt to get it done now.

it won't hurt to get it done the CFO..i did the same thing, if you're married to a foreigner you'll need it. .

PRISM seminar required if your husband is a foreigner. After you attend that seminar, you go to CFO, pay P400.00, and they will give you a certificate. Then you take that certificate, along with your marriage contract, birth certificate, photos, and other forms of identification to DFA to get your passport.

NATURALIZATION

02/25/2014 - Eligibility date.

03/03/2014 - N-400 package mailed.

03/11/2014 - Check cashed.

03/14/2014 - NOA received.

04/09/2014 - Biometrics.

04/28/2014 - In-Line for Interview - 6 hours later Interview Scheduled!!

05/02/2014 - Interview Letter received. (Mailed on 29 April)

05/26/2014 - 3 year anniversary.

06/02/2014 - Interview. PASSED!

09/11/2014 - Oath Ceremony.

09/16/2014 - Updated driver licence and registered to vote.

10/08/2014 - Updated Social Security

10/14/2014 - Applied for U.S. Passport

10/27/2014 - U.S. Passport arrived in mail (13 days - DID NOT expedite)

10/30/2014 - Naturalization Certificate arrived in mail (was not folded)

MY IMMIGRATION JOURNEY IS OFFICIALLY FINISHED!!
