When he arrives into the US, he will get a stamp in his passport which is his temporary work and travel permit. This will allow him to travel without his green card until the green card is issued.

There is no restrictions on travel with a Cr-1 visa

Any word on your case?

Good luck

Yeah the endorsed visa is valid as a travel permit and temporary Greencard. If I was you I'd make sure however that, before he leaves again, he has a Driving License or some sort of US I.D. which shows the residency addres. Just in case the officers at the port of entry want to know if he is sincere about living in the US or just using his visa as an easy way to travel.

Alles wird gut und wenn es noch nicht gut ist, ist es noch nicht vorbei.

MQ, just make sure while he is in the U.S. he always keeps his Palestinian passport and identification card current, otherwise the Israelis strip him of his Palestinian Authority I.D. number and he will lose what even little rights he has a Palestinian.

Also, whatever you do, tell him not to let the Jordanian police/customs open his envelope from the consulate when he goes to the airport!!!

They tried to do that with my cousin, but he literally snatched the envelope back as they were starting to tear it open.

Otherwise, good luck with everything! I hope my interview will go smoothly, I have heard the people at the Jerusalem consulate can be kind of difficult.
