Mr. Oppenheim expects that the 2A category (spouses and children of permanent residents) will continue to move forward aggressively and by the February 2011 visa bulletin, this category may be current or close to being current.

it will be assigned in about 10 days and since a visa # is not available as yet they are not likely to send out any documents... but a letter saying there are no visa numbers. forgot you had two.

Hope you are anticipating the up-comming Visa Bulletin, Some say it will be a small move others say differently. Lets wait and see.

hi all,

My case is definitely affected by the huge retrogression brought about by the 2010 progression. Still I would like to take things optimistically.

Just paid IV Fee Bill and AOS Bill. We are yet to submit I-864 and DS-230. My wife is still waiting from her employer about I-864 requirements. Hoping that come February there'd be NO MORE retrogression for F2A.

This is real real nice and I appreciate your time to update the information. let me ask. as i read this it refers to immediate relatives which seems to talking about spouses, parents and children/under 21 of US citizens. The good thing is it will free them up so they can quickly address the I-130 family pref.
