hi i have a question. did the beneficiary sent the docs (D230) directly to NVC or did the beneficiary forward all docs to petitioner and the petitioner send the docs to NVC?

i am the petitioner and i am planning to ask my husband who is in the phils. to send his ds 230 - (not sure if I got this right)directly to nvc and i will send the aos myself. do you think this is advisable? any thoughts, anyone?

It is all up to you if you want to send it or have someone else send the DS-230. It will not make a difference as long as th NVC gets it.

To all of my December filers buddies out there. In October 2011 the 14th we were approved. Finally we were approved. Praise God. It was a hard road and everything seems to go so quickly. My fiance will have her interview Jan 12th 2012. One more hurdle or step how you may look at it. We are almost there. I feel like we have been chisling away on a big rock for the past year. Now we are about to stand in amazement of what God is about to unveil here.

About 13 months now I still don’t approve yet, I wrote an e mail to (VSC.NCSCFollowup@uscis.dhs.gov ) follow up from Vermont and I got a reply yesterday starting this ####### bellow. I think this e mail is just a story because base on their uscis website the current approval date is November 20, 2010 and this information was updated on 14 November 2011...

Here comes their reply….

The processing of your case has been delayed. A check of our records establishes that your case is not yet ready for decision, as the required security checks remain pending.

Until the security checks have been completed, we cannot move forward on your case. These security checks are required to be completed on all applicants who apply for the immigration benefit you are seeking. We will make every effort to make a decision on this case as soon as the security checks are complete. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, please contact us by calling our customer service number provided below.

For future status inquiries of a petition or application filed at this Center you may want to utilize our National Customer Service Center by calling 1-800-375-5283. If you would like to obtain forms, filing instructions, case status or schedule an appointment with your local office, please visit our website at www.uscis.gov.

I had gotten that message too last year. It is so frustrating the waiting process and they wont tell you anything other than, "your in background checks and it won't be approved until then." It is so difficult. I had a request to have our application to be expedited and got the same answer you have gotten. I then waited and waited then I requested it again. A week later we were approved. Don't give up hope just yet. I know it is hard and frustrating in the wait but hang in there and pray a lot now and for your future. God bless you guys.

Just my opinion... Its better to wait to the new ones, since our PDs are far to be current. We will be submitting it anyways when our PDs become current (interview). So why not wait for it. Eventhough we wanted to rush our case completion, its useless, waiting to be current still matters most.

Your priority date is Oct. 5, 2010??? The message says that you have sent all the information to the NVC that was requested, they have been reviewed, and the next action will be once the case is current. You will be provided with the novice to appear for an interview and complete the medical exam.
