Even if that's true. For Dec 2010 PD, it's so far off from cutoff, why would NVC start processing now?

How many month before PD is current when does NVC usually start processing?

No friend...i have heard so many people having PD dec 2010(first week) and got their AOS and COA...i am also very keen to get mine....i think next VBS will bring good news to all of us...may advance 2 months or more...

it will be assigned in about 10 days and since a visa # is not available as yet they are not likely to send out any documents... but a letter saying there are no visa numbers. forgot you had two.

Yes i got my AOS/ COA 2 days ago for my brother ... so yea good news from me.. MY AOS will be sent off tomorrow.. the COA has been sent already. They were just there waiting good.gif

How did you do your COA? Did you make an email like the ones we're trying to send them before or you made another one? Please teach me how you did it. So when mine comes, I know what to do. Thanks :D

WHEN DO I SEND THEM AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT FORM? I ALREADY PAYED AOS FORM FEE.

DO I HAVE TO SEND IN MAIL OR EMAIL?

It's ok lol calm. glad u made your payment.... THE PAYMENT WILL BE PROCESSED ON MONDAY.... Once the status is changed u will have a barcode cover letter/sheet generated. You will mail the AOS documents so they can be processed

is that correct?

Actually filers from Oct 2010 to the whole month of Dec 2010 received their AOS and COA, not just PD dec 2010 (first week).:D SO I guess January 2011 is next.:dance: :dance:

This is great news! I hope to receive AOS and COA soon. I will have my citizenship interview this December and if everything goes well, I will be able to upgrade the petition. *Fingers crossed.

I hope everything moves quicker from now on. I miss my husband so much. :(

Am not surprised cos NVC is now broke and they need money for the coming festive periods,so,the progress in AOS ,COA for DEC/NOV FILERS has nothing to do with speeding the coming bulletings....I don't trust NVC

You need to stop saying the NVC is broke... they dont process applications because they are broke OTHER WISE the $$$$$$$$ could have been requested 6-9 months ago when these cases got to them...

I remember reading somewhere that the NVC would start processing an F2A file if they thought the priority date would be current within a year. I don't know if this is true or if this is why they have now started processing petitions filed a year ago, but it's definitely good news.

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

13 June 2013: Case upgraded to CR1

2 July 2013: Case completed

28 August 2013: Interview - approved!

21 September 2013: POE

18 November 2013: Green card received

My husband's citizenship journey:

8 February 2013: N-400 sent
4 March 2013: Biometrics
