it will be assigned in about 10 days and since a visa # is not available as yet they are not likely to send out any documents... but a letter saying there are no visa numbers. forgot you had two.

Yes i got my AOS/ COA 2 days ago for my brother ... so yea good news from me.. MY AOS will be sent off tomorrow.. the COA has been sent already. They were just there waiting good.gif

HI all plz help me i dont understand this term "Adjustment of Status". Does that apply to someone who is not in US?

No the person must be in the US to "Adjust his / her status" from B1, B2, F1, H!, Overstay (illegal) etc.

This is excellent news that NVC has begun processing DEC 2010 F2A filers...hopefully that is a sign that PDs will begin to move quicker in the next few months!!!???

Thank you. You can remove that lawyer from the case at ANYTIME. You need to update the NVC with the request which will be honored. Do this via mail, email, phone.

anyone with PD in Jan 2011 got notices from NVC?

I always thought that NVC wouldn't start unless cutoff date is close to PD.

As of Jan VB, cutoff date is almost 2 years away from Jan 2011 PD

Why would NVC begin processing now?

Does that mean cutoff date is going to advance to 2011? I think that's unlikely.

See you're still having doubts. I want to provide reasons to what I'm thinking but you'll probably not believe. What I will see is that by JULY 2012 ... Visa cut off date for the F2A category should be around June 2010. Should be beyond that though.

i just want to ask you about that choice of agent form . can i use the format we have here on visa journey and send it through email? they will accept it or not?

i already paid the AOS fee . what will be the next step?

Whats the next step..? The Nvc will send the IMMIGRANT VISA Bill & Application & Medical appt.
