How can I know that the NVC received the papers already?

give them a call... you can also put your USCIS case number in their system and if you get the NVC case # then it was received.

it will be assigned in about 10 days and since a visa # is not available as yet they are not likely to send out any documents... but a letter saying there are no visa numbers. forgot you had two.

Hi ricardo,,, until now I am confused regarding my daughter's case. So I made some browsing and found this at http://travel.state....pes_1306.html#5

Am I correct that since my husband is a permanent resident and we are under F2a category, according to this article, my daughter is included in my petition? PLEASE HELP ME INTERPRET THIS IF I GOT IT WRONG. Thanks

what you read is for something thing that is different .. a petition must be filed for your daughter..

We just received an email stating my brother's case is approved yesterday, May 10th. Hopefully some cases here from last Dec'2010 will be approved soon too...Good luck everybody! Hoping for Visa to be available soon. Just wondering what to do next after approval for F2a.? My brother will be 21 on this coming October this year. Please advise. thanks!

Do we all have the same message from the NOA2 that the NVC is asking for atleast 90 days if the beneficiary hasnt received correspondence from NVC then contact them? Does NVC really takes about 3mos before we can get notice from them?

No it does not take 3 months.. BUT they will act slower since the priority date is not current.

it same thing with me.. need to wait atleast 90 days...is it start counting the 90days,that the day when u rcved the letter or the day on the letter u approved??

thank you sir for helping us out - its really stressful to wait that long - my husband even refrain me from reading here not to feel the longing of the waiting time - he even told me just to live life each day - and then youll never notice our time is up and we will be able to see each other again.

one last question? - are there cases that approval varies and it would take 2 years least? i holding on my hope to that - if GOD's will in time we will be able to see each other sooner.

I think there were cases completed in less than a year. But since we are to wait for the PD to be current, so we need to wait a little bit longer to become visa available for us. If not for the stupid retrogression, i think there are F2a visas available already for 2010 filers, and reunited to their families. Correct me if im wrong.

yes you are right .

i have family friends they applied for their spouses ....................LPR ................... they applied in june 2010 .................. visa numbers were available................. case already completed............... send to consulate............... waiting for PD to get interview date
