it will be assigned in about 10 days and since a visa # is not available as yet they are not likely to send out any documents... but a letter saying there are no visa numbers. forgot you had two.

I received a text confirming receipt yesterday so it's safe to say I had my NOA1 1/25/11. I'm updating my timeline. :) I hope everything goes smoothly.

u mean that u r not able to check the status of ur case online?

my priority date is dec 23 2010 and when i first got email notification that they received my documents, i was not able to see the status online. then i called the customer service number given on NOA1. they said wait untill you get official notification from USCIS( the hard copy). after i called it worked.

so you might wana call them to ask y u r not able to check status.

sorry for the delay. No I am still not able to check the case status online I tried calling this morning but since I am not the petitioner or the applicant I wasnt able to get information but i will on Monday, Jan 31

Hello VJ members. New here. Filed K1 last month. Crossing my fingers and waiting patiently as I can see its a long way to go before approval. Secretly wishing otherwise (lol). Will be good to know there are others in my league. Goodluck to all of us.

No. I called uscis and spoke with a level 2 person. She said she would ask her supervisor to send an email to the CSC to see if it could be updated to show online. Its now 1 month and 2 days.

my dad also petitioned finally for rest of my brother sister. we sent on saturday the 26th january. its been delivered on 13st of january but still didn't get any E-notification that they received it.

i am counting days for my petition that i filled for my spouse. its already 1 month and 9 days.

cant wait

:dance: I feel so much better.. the email i sent them on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011 with my plea worked. I'm very pleased with the service. I got a reply from them yesterday Jan. 31st. My case status is now updated - online.

As a courtesy, we researched the status of your case based on your request. USCIS electronic records indicate that your application/petition was filed on December 30, 2010 and is currently within current processing time. We are currently processing cases filed within 5 months of filing.

NOTE: We have notified our IT Division to update the Case Status Online.
