Perhaps they can expedite the NVC stage too even though our PD is not current?!?

Please dont do that. I expect a higher level of conversation from u. They cannot expedite his case through the nvc.... I won't need their help once his PD becomes current. Are you familiar with when it is appropriate to use a congressional pull? If not I can send u the past topic on that issue/topic

Am I right in thinking that even if you get NOA2, you still have to wait to have your case be looked at by the NCV and that's what the PD date is referring to? It's just that the NOA2 process seems to be going so much quicker, but the PD is still ages away, it doesn't make much sense?!?

yes you are right.. good.gif

I have no updates from USCIS and my case is pending beyong normal processing times. Every time I call USCIS, i get standard reply- every case is different.

I believe USCIS is practising a clear discrimination policy on how it process applications and it is a incompetent agency (NVC too)-both NVC and USCIS do not have any idea how many applications are pending and for the same reason priority dates keeps jumping up and down. Per USCIS Ombudsman more than 10000 F2A visas wasted in 2009/2010 because of processing delays.

One of the service agents even told me that why I am worrying that my I-130 is not approved yet because it will take 2-3 years for my date to become current. When I mentioned her the great jumps in priority dates, she apologised and took her words back.

richardo do u think i will hear something from them within 30 days or not?
