So I will just disregard the IV Fee invoice for my son and just pay my IV fee. Will it not create any conflict on processing my IV application? Thanks..

No need to inform the NVC ... the case would be cancelled automatically with time. This could be due to how the I-130 was filled or the aos

No it will not. If u pay electronically, don't be surprise if both names appear again. That happened with mine even though my son already migrated with my husband. Just ignore it; it might be a mechanism of Nvc to track the family tree of migrants.

Regarding the DS-3032 form I received, which require not me but my son and daughter's signature in my home country. In order to save time, can I scan and email to them to sign on it and return to me by email. So that I can check everything is correct. And then I email their copy to NVC instead of they each individual email to NVC? Will the NVC accept the form is sent by the petitioner instead of the applicant?

The choice of agent is the step-father. He later will establish email communication with NVC for future corrspondence? Is it ok?

Thanks!

Here is my story below. I really appreciate if someone could help me on this:

I am a green card holder. I went back to my home country to get married this summer. But my fiancé was already accepted at a university in the U.S. So I was planning to bring her to the U.S. as an F-1 Visa student and not to face the F2A Visa issue. My plan was to be with her and get married to her once I got my citizenship. But she applied for an F-1 Visa and got refused twice, even though she was single. Then, we got married 4 days after her visa refusal and applied for an F2A visa 15 days later. My question is when she will have her visa interview, would this case (explained above) be a problem? Would she be able to get an F2A Visa? PLEASE HELP!!!

When you apply for her F2A, did you mention she's married to a LPR on the application?

As long as you fully disclose her situation, that being F-1 visa refusals and marriage to

LPR, I don't see a problem. But chances F2A visa approval seems very low for obviously reason of

immigration intent.

You are getting a good one! LOL dancin5hr.gif

Can anyone please help and tell me what should I do next? I’m really confused. My husband paid for AOS fee $88 each for my 2 kids.

I know I need to send DS-3032 to my kids to sign and return to me to send to NVC. I’m waiting for my kids’ signature return to me.

Then I received NVC email as below. What should I do at the time being?

What is IV fee? Is it $404? How do I pay it? Thanks!!!

A payment status of IN PROCESS means your payment is still being processed. A payment status other than

PAID indicates that the Department of State has not received your payment. If you receive a notice that your

case has entered termination do not attempt to pay any fees. You must contact the
NVC
immediately to

reinstate your petition.
NVC
contact information can be found at

travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html.

Next Steps

1. When the IV fee payment status is PAID, each applicant must submit an Application for Immigrant

Visa and Alien Registration. If your case was initiated after October 4, 2010 and your case number

begins with AMM, ATH, BGH, LMA, MEP, or MTL you must submit your visa application form

online. Otherwise you must submit the paper version of the form.

_ To submit your application form online, click DS-260 then log in to the Consular Electronic

Applications Center and follow the instructions displayed.

_ To submit the paper version click DS-230 and follow the instructions displayed.

2. To complete your Immigrant Visa application you must also submit civil documents. Go to

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and click Communicating with the
NVC
to learn about document

submission requirements and options for your case.

3. If you are required to submit physical documents, you must include a bar-coded cover sheet to

identify the documents as belonging to your case.

_ If you received an Instruction Packet from the National Visa Center (
NVC
), it contains a cover sheet

which may be photocopied.

_ If you need a new cover sheet, print one now by clicking the Print Document Cover Sheet button on

the IV Fee Payment Receipt page.

_ If you cannot print a cover sheet now, use the Email Document Cover Sheet button to send an

electronic copy to an email address where it can be printed later.

4. The next steps concerning
AOS
fee payments are found on the
AOS
fee payment receipt.

Thanks 'PD is Current' for your opinion. Yes we did mention that she is married to an LPR. But can she say in the interview that her intention wasn't to get married in the US (just to study in the US)and we would get married outside the US (in my country) after I got my citizenship and bring her as a K-1 Visa? Thanks.

hello again dear friends

On November 24 2011, I paid the $88 AOS fee. I sent my wife a forwarded email copy of the Choice of Agent form. She printed it, filled up and signed, then emailed it to the NVC the next day. It worked! We saved a lot of money by just emailing the COA form to NVC.

Today, I received another email from the NVC re Immigrant Visa Application Processing fee.

I have a question for those who've done it before:

I petitioned my wife, which from my understanding, automatically includes our 1.5 yo child. Do I have to pay the $404.00 IVA Fee for both my wife and our child?

And how do I know if the AOS form is already available after I paid it?

Thanks a lot and speedy processing for all of us.

How do I know if I should get a co-sponsor for my AoS? :help:

How do I know if I should get a co-sponsor for my AoS? :help:

well it depends on your income & How many persons are you sponsoring..?!! I have referenced a link below. If you are in the military then and DO NOT live in Alaska or Hawaii then you WILL look/use the TOP part of the page that is in BOLD and says "125% of poverty line."

so if it is you (1), your spouse (1) and a child (1) you have a household of 3 people and you will need to be making $23, 162 or more.. if you are then no co-sponsor is needed..

you can request the COA /ds 2032 assignments via electronic mail. The IV fee is the fee paid before the applicant can complete the related documents and forms to REQUEST an immigrant visa to enter the USA.
